Roman 90 BC Silver Titius Pegasus Denarius (088)

Very charming ancient silver coin with a rotund Pegasus.  The back is a particularly beautiful rendition of a young Bacchus.

Roman Q. Titius Silver Denarius with Flying Pegasus facing right.  Head of Liber/Bacchus (God of viticulture and wine) is on the reverse.

Rome mint 90 B.C.

Coin is approximately 16.3x17.0 mm in a hand fabricated sterling silver mount.  With the bail the pendant is approx. 24.5mm (1 inch)
