Description

Ancient bronze coin with an image of a horse bounding left with reins streaming back.  The reverse side of the coin is an image of a Griffin bounding left.  

This coin uniquely combines two magnificent creatures, one real and one mythical.  Both represent strength, courage and bravery, characteristics that riders carry in their hearts.

The coin is from Kainon, Sicily

Dated:  360-340 BC

Size approx. 20mm in a hand fabricated sterling silver mount. 

With certificate of authenticity.
