Greek Phillip II Horse and Rider Bronze 359 BC (112)
Beautiful ancient bronze coin with an image of a horse and rider. This coin has a unique dark green patina which is complemented by the gold prongs and bail.
Phillip II was King of Macedon and the father of Alexander the Great. The obverse side of the coin is an image of Apollo. The coin was made in honor of the Olympic Games.
Dated: 359 BC
Size approx 16.5mm in a hand fabricated 18kt gold and sterling silver mount.
